Notice in the foreground, the kitty sleeping comfortably on the sofa. Not in the wicker cat bed or on the kitty condo.
Perhaps her reasoning is, "If you nap on the sofa, then so can I." Or perhaps her reasoning is, "I'll sleep wherever I please, because that's what I do." I'm sure it's the latter, and not the former. I don't mind her napping on the sofa. It's simply the absurdity of the picture.
Clearly, my kitty has a lovely life. She lives better than many many people, and I know this. I am pretty sure she neither knows this nor cares.
As the saying goes, Cats have never forgotten they were once worshiped as gods.
