NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the DC Metro Area, in effect from 3PM this afternoon to 11AM Sunday. Light snow + sleet will change to freezing rain and then rain during the evening. 0.1 - 0.2 inch ice accumulation possible. Rain overnight. High winds & cold on Sunday following storm.
At least we now know it's going to be light snow and sleet and rain as opposed to yesterday's vague alert.
