Here's this morning's view from my balcony....



I live inside the Beltway which means there's panic in the streets about the 2 inches of snow that we're receiving. Fortunately, I have the kind of job where I can work from home, so I didn't have to deal with this morning's traffic.

The panic never failed to amuse me. I personally loved when the sensationalist local news would use graphs with subtle, LOAVES OF BREAD (it had to be Fox) to indicate how bad the impending storm was predicted to be. Hurry! There will be bedlam in the streets! Get your bread now so you and your family won't starve!

It gets a tad silly.
