April 19 was the 20th anniversary of The Simpsons, and I'm anxiously looking forward to the The Simpsons movie debut in July. Despite the decline in quality of the show over the past 5 or 6 years, it's still my favorite tv show. I plan on seeing the movie opening weekend, yet I'm afraid that it won't live up to my expectations. I want to believe that the writers and directors will be able to produce 90 minutes of witty and engaging material, but I'm just not sure.
